Tiny Tutus Pre-School Ballet (2½-4yrs)
from 9.45am-10.30am or afternoons 1.45pm-2.30pm (£3.50)
Pre-school ballet and movements class aimed at capturing and nurturing a toddler’s natural joy for movement and freedom of expression.
Introduction to Dance (4-5yrs)
from 4.00pm-5.00pm (£5.00)
Fun tap sessions for pre-primary school children, great for learning coordination, rhythm and theory.
Pre-Primary Ballet Dancing (5-7yrs)
from 5.00pm-5.30pm (£3.00)
Learn a new graceful skill and make friends whilst having fun. Each year the children will take part in various shows and charity events and also work towards exams following the ISTD syllabus.
Primary Modern Dance (7-9yrs)
from 5.30pm-6.00pm (£3.00)
Fun, modern dance classes that works on flexibility, strength and rhythm. Come along for an exciting and focused session!

Ideal for – but not exclusive to – the active older participant! Low impact and easy to follow Zumba Gold session is available:
Every Monday morning (10.45am – 11.45am)
at Crownway Community Centre, Earlestown.
£3.50 per session
No need to book a place, just come along and enjoy one hour of gentle invigorating Latin-based dance fitness. Our recent taster session was a huge success with an all around positive response to the dance style. Catering to individual needs, you can participate sitting down if you prefer and our Zumba Gold instructor, Louise, will be on hand to give you support and make the session an enjoyable one!
No need to book a place, just come along and join in!

Do you fancy tripping the light fantastic? Then why not come along to our very popular social Dance Class and learn various dances e.g. Salsa, Tango, Jive etc. in a fun, enjoyable and social atmosphere.
No need to come along with a partner as you will be paired up on the night. No need to worry about being voted off either!
Only £5 per session.

Additional Positive Self-Esteem Course for those suffering with mild to moderate mental health on Wednesdays 10am-1pm.
The course is delivered over 8 weeks for 2-3 hours per week.

Let’s do IT is a drop-in session open to all. It provides an opportunity where IT skills can be practiced and developed in a relaxed atmosphere. Each session is supported so there is always help at hand if needed.

If you’re looking to improve your Health & Well Being there’s something for all ages and fitness levels from Family First Aid, Family Martial Arts, Yoga, Pilates and Adult Social Dance, Weekly Job Club, We even facilitate a Well Baby and under 5 clinic on Mondays.
For those of you who enjoy crafts we run several Jewellery Making Groups; Creative Crafts, Creative Writing, and a Nifty Needlecraft Group.
Groups that meet at the Centre include Local History, Flower Arranging, Indoor Bowling, Bridge to name a few.
New for 2018 – Have fun at Forever Fit (fitness for 50+) or maybe try Baby Massage every Monday morning
Old favourites are also running and include many foreign language courses e.g. Italian and Spanish courses run throughout the week (daytime and evenings) for different levels i.e. from beginners through to intermediate or advanced.
There’s plenty for the children and young people to do as well! Our weekly Club 4-2-6 is very well attended as is Legends Children’s Dance classes, we also have Family Fun Time (ages 0-4) and Starlites Morris Dancers.

2 great Hatha Yoga classes run on a Wednesday10.30am-11.30am and Thursday 10.00am-11.00am and costs £4 per session (payable in advance in blocks of 7 weeks, term time only).
This yoga class is suitable for all levels of ability – complete beginners are welcome! Yoga postures (asanas) will be used for breathing techniques and visualisation to help create feelings of relaxation and wellbeing during the hour long session.
It is advisable to bring your own mat, a bottle of water, a blanket for relaxation and to wear loose comfortable clothing.
Yoga sessions are very popular so please ring the Centre to register your interest. Limited creche places available.

Local recycling groups are being encouraged to bid for cash funding under a scheme by Merseyside Waste Disposal Authority and Veolia Environmental Services.
The Community Resource Action Fund has been made available in order to encourage waste awareness in local communities. Grants of up to £3000 will be available for projects.
You can apply for the Community Resource Action Fund 2011-12 if you are a:
• Community or voluntary organisation
• Small to medium sized enterprise;
• Not for profit organisation
• Charity
• Parish/town council
• Youth group
• Uniformed organisation
Examples of projects we have supported in the past are:
• Equipment for testing re-used electrical items
• Community art projects using recycled materials
• Community events that raise awareness to sustainable waste management issues
