Chain Lane Community Centre
‘Run by the Community for the Community’. Situated in the Laffak/Blackbrook area of St. Helens and near the A580 East Lancashire Road, Chain Lane Community Centre has been managed and maintained by a voluntary Management Committee since 2005.
The Centre is a single storey fully accessible building, is on a bus route to/from the town centre and with an adjacent car park. The Centre is primarily run as a venue for hire for individuals, clubs, agencies and organisations which provide activities, opportunities and services to the community. These primarily cover education and training, social and recreational and health and fitness and aim to maximise the Centre’s facilities and resources.
The Centre offers a large main hall, a meeting room and electronic games room for hire. The Hall and Games room are available for party hire (www.rollmodelcic.co.uk) All hires have access to refreshment- making facilities.The Centre has adjacent car parking and is on a direct bus route to/from town centre. The centre is covered by £10million Public Liability Insurance.
