  • Trees Community Centre

Starting Point run a weekly Job Club at Trees Community Centre every Monday between 10.00am – 4.00pm. Drop-in, no appointment necessary.

Starting Point is a place where you will receive free information, advice and guidance on jobs, education and training in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

All of our services are completely free. We offer assistance and coaching to help you get a job, write a CV or start training. In some instances, we can also provide funding to help you get there.

Our main office is in Hardshaw Street in the town centre, but no matter where you live in the Borough of St Helens, there will be a base nearby where you can see us if it is more convenient for you. Our bases include rooms in community centres, schools, libraries, children’s centres and church halls.

Starting Point is part of St Helens Chamber and is able to offer a number of additional services provided by the Chamber. This also gives us strong links with local employers.

Starting Point is a member of St Helens Information Advice and Guidance Network and is Matrix accredited by the Guidance Accreditation Board.
